Missing Vince
Reflecting upon one of my favorite shoe masters and clothing designer, we are sadden of a another loss to the fashion world. Vince Camuto, legendary women’s footwear designer, died at his home Wednesday (January 21) at age 78, The cause of death was cancer.i
Growing up on New York and entering into business at age 18, Vince in his thirties co-founded the brand and empire Nine West before selling it in the 90's. He then created Camuto Group, an industry leader for the design, development and distribution of women's fashion footwear,a multibillion-dollar empire that included various footwear and accessories brands. Camuto gained footwear licenses for big name design brands like Tory Burch, BCBG, Max Azria, Jessica Simpson, in addition to private-label shoes for Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and Dillard's, Yes Vince was a silent design master.
No matter the greatness of his success, Camuto always kept his customer top-of-mind, once saying, “We don’t think that we can fool the customer. We give her the best value.” Camuto has left a strong impact on the style community, a leader of clothing and shoe designs in my closet, he will be sorely missed.

Looking for new Face ~ Model Search!
REFLECTION AGENCY TO HOST O'MORE COLLEGE OF DESIGN FASHION SHOW MODEL SEARCH COMPETITION ON CAMPUS
Reflection Agency is sponsoring a model search on the O'More campus in the Fashion Design building on Saturday, March 22 from 1-4 p.m.
The agency is searching for new faces and aspiring models to walk in O'More's 2014 Student Fashion Show on May 9. Models selected to walk in the show will receive free runway training, and will also be considered for a contract with Reflection Agency. One new fresh face will be selected and presented with modeling contract, free training, professional photo shoot, and walk in the 2014 OMore Fashion show.

Model Casting for Memphis Fashion Weekend 2013
MODEL CASTING FOR MEMPHIS FASHION WEEKEND 2013!
Memphis Fashion Weekend will be auditioning male and female models
February 8, 2013.
Auditions will be held at Ballet Memphis from 4-6pm.

Requirements for models are:
Ages- 14-35
Height- Women 5'7+ (without heels) Men 5'10+
Sizes- Women 0-4
**Height will be checked at the audition. Those that do not meet the listed requirements will not be permitted to audition. Models under the age of 18 must have a guardian present.
Models should wear for fitting clothing and heels. Please wear little makeup and loose hair pulled away from your face. Bring a comp card or photo to leave with MFW.
If selected you will be invited to a second round of casting to be held in March. Those selected will be notified by February 20th. Due to the volume of models, MFW will not be able to contact those that did not make the callbacks.
Memphis Fashion Weekend 2013 will be held April 5-6. All models selected must be available full days for both dates. Models will receive $50/day payment for the work with MFW. (Reflection Models must let agency know if booked) Those traveling from out of town will be expected to secure their own accommodations and meals. Models under 18 will receive 1 guardian ticket for the shows.
